She told the court the defendant had conducted this practice with the young males "for many years", and minors had previously become sick the following morning.

Mrs Prior KC stated further: "In the summer" his stepchild had worries about the situation, with valid cause.

"They resolved" to investigate in the individual's items."

Mrs Prior KC explained objects including baby oil, Vaseline and medical needles were discovered, and his stepson alerted the law enforcement about his concerns.

She stated Ruben continued to conduct the "candy game" with six youngsters that night - July 26th - and they were all sick the following morning.

"Authorities" had not arrived by that time," she stated further.

The regulatory agency, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, had stated that it was examining Leicestershire Police's handling of the events.

The prosecutor said the children were unable to walk properly due to their sickness, so Ruben's stepson notified the law enforcement again.
